INTJ Under Stress
An INTJ under stress can become difficult to deal with. INTJs or Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Judging personality types like to observe, taking in information and processing ideas in a rational manner. Logic, organization, and functioning through systems are what make an INTJ tick, and INTJs often become very talented scientists. They are good leaders, but will only put that foot forth when they see a definite need to. The thoughts and feelings of others is less important to an INTJ than it may be to another personality type, and this is one of the things that can lead to potential stressful situations in life.
With such a strong desire for facts and accuracy, an INTJ can often become inflexible, ignoring others who may have a different opinion, especially if he or she thinks that person is not as well-informed as they are. INTJs can become demanding and hard to work with. This can put off others and make it hard for the INTJ to find someone who is up to his or her standards. Through problems such as these, the INTJ begins to feel more pressured in their hopes to create something useful and important. Additional stress is their belief that they may not be able to create something worthwhile and their reactions can lead to being misunderstood by others. An INTJ’s difficulties may frustrate them further and instead of accepting their own shortcomings, they may attempt to shuffle responsibility to someone else.
When an INTJ is overstressed, it is more difficult for them to interact with others. They are not social by nature, and thus can be more irritable than usual. An INTJ under stress can also obsess over little mistakes, become consumed with their feelings of weakness and incompetence. These thoughts can hinder them in their quest to capture their goal, which is the necessary drive they need to help in their happiness.
