ENTP Under Stress

An ENTP under stress will loses their natural abilities, creating more stress for themselves. Through you may have never taken the Myers-Briggs test there are some personality traits that you might have that could mean you are an ENTP, which stands for Extraverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving. If you are an “idea person” or constantly looking for new ideas and getting excited about finding a new possibility and have the ability to reach fast yet logical answers, you could be an ENTP. ENTPs are also great in conversation, love to verbally spar, and have difficulties finishing the things they start. It may be great to come up with an idea, but hard to follow through with that idea to make it a reality.

Stressors for ENTPs can mean their ability to come up with new ideas will weaken as they worry over other things. Instead, minor details will become overly important even though they really have no relevance in the big scheme of things or in terms of the ENTP’s idea. An ENTP may also forget to prepare for various situations, which can lead to later stress when they realize their inefficiency in a certain event. It may mean working more than should have been necessary in order to fix the problem. This can put stress on an ENTP because not only are they working harder, but ENTPs like to move on to the next best thing or focus on their new idea. Getting stuck on one thing can mean frustration and irritability because they cannot.

An ENTP under stress may start to lose their sense of who they are and what they can do. Instead, they may question their adequacy and efficiency, dwelling on these problems instead of seeking ways to correct what may actually be the stressor. They can develop anxiety and become more prone to fear and panic if stress is not removed or reduced.
